What This Kit Does

This is the complete sealing package for a 4L60E or 4L65E rebuild. Age and heat harden the clutch piston seals and wear the sealing rings, which lets apply oil bleed off. The result is 3-4 slip or flare, delayed engagement into drive or reverse, soft shifts, and leaks at the pan rail, pump nose or tailshaft. Replacing every seal and gasket with OE-spec parts restores line pressure so the clutch packs apply fully.

Verify your transmission code and pan depth before ordering. 2004 and newer units use a different pump-to-case wedge seal and require a different kit.

Please Note

This is an overhaul and sealing kit. Friction plates, steel plates, the 2-4 band, bushings, pistons and the filter are not included and should be ordered separately if your teardown shows wear.
