Designed To Address:

• Sticking throttle valve and improper TV operation

• Early or late shifts related to TV system operation

• Hydraulic conditions contributing to 2-4 band and 3-4 clutch failure

• Soft or slide-bump 1-2 shifts

• Missing fourth gear or falling out of fourth gear

• Converter shudder associated with applicable hydraulic control issues

Kit Components Include:

• Throttle valve components, springs, spacer and aluminum washer

• Two 1-2 accumulator springs and seat

• Pressure regulator valve spring and snap ring

• Servo cushion spring and band adjustment shim

• Accumulator valve and line bias valve springs

• 5/16-inch plastic checkball

Fitment Notes:
Confirm the installed transmission and valve body type rather than relying on vehicle year alone. This kit is intended for 1988–1993 Type 2 valve bodies. For 1982–1987 Type 1 valve bodies, use TransGo SK700 instead. Not for electronically controlled 4L60E transmissions.

This is a valve body repair kit, not a complete transmission rebuild kit. Existing mechanical damage or worn internal components may require additional repairs.
