Fitment And Installation

For compatible GM 4L60E transmissions within the advertised 1996-2003 range. Vehicle year alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm transmission identification, pan depth, pump configuration, electrical connectors, and the small-hole extension housing required by the included speed sensor.

Verify overhaul kit and pump component compatibility for 1996 applications. The supplied EPC solenoid is listed for 1992-2002 applications, so confirm suitability before installing this kit in a 2003 transmission.

Professional rebuilding, inspection, and clearance checks are recommended. This kit does not replace the need to diagnose worn valve body bores or damaged hard parts. Additional components may be required based on transmission condition.

Refill with application-correct transmission fluid and verify Lubegard ATF compatibility before use. Transmission fluid is sold separately.
