Transmission Fitment

Fits A604, 40TE, 41TE, 41AE, and F4AC1 transmissions in 1989–2003 applications. Confirm the transmission identification and required kit contents before ordering; vehicle make, model, and year alone do not establish fitment.

Common Service Use

Worn gaskets, seals, O-rings, and sealing rings can contribute to transmission fluid leaks and internal pressure loss. This kit is intended for a complete teardown and reseal when those sealing components are the diagnosed cause. Inspect clutches, hard parts, valve-body components, and electronics separately before reassembly.

Rebuild Tip

Use the specified automatic transmission fluid after service. Add Lubegard ATF Protectant when refilling to help support smooth shifts and transmission life after an overhaul.
