722.3 722.4 Valve Body Shift Correction Kit for Mercedes Diesel 1981-1997

This Superior K722A-D valve body recalibration kit is designed for Mercedes-Benz 722.3 and 722.4 four-speed automatic transmissions with diesel engines. It helps address harsh 1-2 shifts, soft or flaring 2-3 shifts, cold-weather 2-3 flare or slip, soft 3-4 shifts, and stacked 2-3 shift concerns.

The kit offers adjustable calibration choices: soften the 1-2 shift and set the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts from normal to firm to firmer. It also includes components to support proper vacuum adjustment and help stabilize overall shift quality.

This is a valve body shift correction kit, not a complete valve body and not a transmission filter or filter kit. Professional installation is recommended. Use the Mercedes-approved ATF specified for the application and add Lubegard ATF supplement.
