Why Replace Bushings

Worn bushings are one of the most overlooked causes of 6T40-family problems. As clearances open up, line pressure bleeds off internally, leading to:

• Pump whine or buzzing, especially when cold
• Torque converter shudder
• Delayed or harsh engagement into Drive or Reverse
• Slipping under load
• Repeat front seal and converter hub leaks
