Function

The transmission control system uses this switch to monitor hydraulic pressure associated with 2nd and 3rd clutch operation. A faulty pressure switch may be associated with transmission diagnostic codes, a flashing D indicator, delayed or irregular shifting, or other shift-control concerns. Proper diagnosis of the switch, wiring, connector, fluid condition, and hydraulic system is recommended before replacement.
