Replace the complete solenoid group in a compatible JF506E or VW 09A 5-speed automatic transmission valve body. This kit is intended for transmission rebuilds and valve-body service where solenoid performance has been diagnosed as a contributor to shift-quality concerns or transmission fault codes.

Includes solenoids for:

• Shift A, Shift B, and Shift C

• Torque Converter Clutch control

• Electronic Pressure Control / main line pressure

• Low-clutch timing

• Reduction timing

• 2-4 brake timing

• 2-4 brake duty

Common service situations may include intermittent shift-related diagnostic codes, delayed engagement, harsh or erratic shifting, and inconsistent transmission operation. Proper diagnosis is required because similar symptoms can also result from valve-body wear, wiring faults, fluid condition, hydraulic issues, or internal transmission damage.

Fits select JF506E-equipped Volkswagen, Land Rover, and Jaguar vehicles, including certain Volkswagen Jetta, Golf, GTI, Jaguar X-Type, and Land Rover Freelander applications. Confirm the transmission model and original solenoid layout before ordering; the JF506E was also used in Mazda applications, but Mazda versions use a different configuration and are not interchangeable with this VW/Land Rover/Jaguar kit.

Use the correct manufacturer-specified ATF during service. Lubegard ATF Protectant may be used when appropriate for the specified transmission fluid and service procedure.
