This heavy-duty rebuilt 4L60E transmission is the perfect direct replacement for 1998-2006 GM LS-powered 2WD vehicles. Designed for Chevrolet Silverado 1500/2500, Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Sierra 1500/2500, Yukon, and Yukon XL with 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, or 6.0L engines (1999-2006 models). Also fits 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird 5.7L with original tailhousing reuse.
Every transmission is fully remanufactured with premium upgrades that fix the factory 4L60E’s most common weak points:
- Upgraded “Monster” sunshell – eliminates the #1 failure point that strips and leaves you without forward gears
- High-energy 3-4 clutches and new high-energy 2-4 band for maximum holding power up to 450 HP
- TransGo HD shift kit + recalibrated front pump for firmer, quicker shifts and higher line pressure
- Corvette servo upgrade, all-new USA frictions & seals, bushings, low-reverse & dual-cage forward sprag, and thrust washers
- Chrome pan with drain plug and 300mm LS-style bellhousing with top center bolt
Includes 12 full quarts of Premium Lubegard Complete Full Synthetic ATF (part 69032) – the complete fill you need for smooth, shudder-free performance and extended fluid life.
2WD output shaft (4x4 available upon request). Torque converter not included. No core charge. Dyno tested in-house for perfect pressures, zero leaks, and quality shifts every time.
