Function

The lock-up TCC solenoid controls torque converter clutch operation in the automatic transmission. When a compatible solenoid becomes electrically faulty, sticks, or does not operate within specification, it may contribute to torque converter clutch codes, elevated highway RPM, shudder, intermittent lock-up, or improper lock-up engagement and release.
